Altsets is an alternative data provider offering a supply-chain relationship dataset for investors, equity analysts, and quantitative researchers. It connects companies to their suppliers and customers, with estimated economic dependency metrics and point-in-time relationship history.
What the dataset contains
The network covers more than 90,000 entities and 400,000 relationships, with historical observations going back to 2006. Records connect normalized suppliers and customers and include estimated relationship value, supplier revenue percentage, and customer cost percentage where available. Coverage varies by company and period; missing relationships or metrics do not mean zero exposure.
Altsets combines public filings, presentations, releases, shipping manifests, entity matching, and proprietary estimates into a comparable relationship graph. It adds network context to filings and financial-data APIs: the focus is who supplies whom and how economically material a relationship may be, rather than standalone prices or financial statements. Within alternative data, this is a company relationship dataset, rather than a consumer-transaction or sentiment feed.
